Please join us for a very unique Chef’s Table. In partnership with Mezcalistas, a popular mezcal blog, we will host guest chef Sergio Garcia of Chicano Soul Food and La Luna mezcal.
Join us in the tasting room for a special four-course dining experience with mezcal and food pairings from the state of Michoacan.
La Luna mezcal will be guiding us through a pairing of their expressions with a menu designed by Sergio Garcia of Chicano Soul Food.
La Luna is produced in the mountainous regions of Michoacan, with agave harvested at elevations of over 2000 meters.
Chicano Soul Food is a San Diego street taco stand with a unique menu inspired by the Michoacano heritage of chef/owner, Sergio Garcia. Chicano Soul Food is known for providing nutritious, flavorful food to the community and always offering a vegan/vegetarian option.
Tickets for this event are $100 and include the four-course mezcal/food pairing and a welcome cocktail.

For this month’s mezcal talk we are hosting Erstwhile Mezcal. This is a brand that specializes in artisanal and ancestral mezcal.
More than a mezcal brand, Erstwhile is a platform for the core values and social missions that our founders believe in: mezcal education, brand transparency, promoting small producers to an international audience / fan base, empowerment of women in the mezcal / wine & spirits industry.
All proceeds from this event will go to support S.A.C.R.E.D (Saving Agave for Culture, Recreation, Education, and Development) an on profit that replants 10,000 agaves a year, gifting them to mezcaleros and farmers in need of plants.
During our Happy Hour, we will also feature a special cocktail with their wonderful Espadin.

Cinco Sentidos is a project that aims to highlight the various production processes, agave diversity, and talents and traditions of the amazing people who make the spirits with rigor and esteem.

Mezcal Meditation
Join us for a night of mezcal, meditation and charity!
Tahona and Amaras mezcal will be partnering with The People Will, a San Diego organization supporting asylum seekers in Tijuana shelters.
Join mezcal experts Steven Sadri and Rocío De Mingo to learn about the ancient Mexican mezcal traditions that have been cultivated through the Millenia . Breathing techniques and a guided meditation will transport you to the steamy jungles and hot desert origins of the mezcal you will be sipping. Drink, relax, explore, and have fun!
All ticket proceeds and 50% of Amaras Cocktail Specials will be donated to The People Will!

Due to the recently reinforced Remain in Mexico policy, asylum seekers are being denied entry to the US and are forced to await their cases in Tijuana. This has resulted in overcrowding, extremely poor conditions, and lack of survival items in shelters for children, families, and individuals.
The People Will focuses on two goals: 1. Providing food, sanitary items, clothing, medicine and other survival items to shelters in need, 2. Using the talents of our community to offer relief and support services such as artists, medical clinics, musicians, legal advice, massage therapy, yoga, etc to alleviate shelter residents’ stress.
The People Will is 100% donation funded and volunteer based. And we need your help! Please come join us for a marvelous evening of mezcal and meditation while we celebrate Mexico’s traditions and support those in need.
