Our mission at Tahona is to educate and give reverence to the complexity and beauty of Mexican culture through its most iconic beverage, mezcal, and to become the epicenter of mezcal culture in San Diego. Inside our space, you can enjoy amazing cocktails, incredible Oaxacan-inspired food, and some of the best mezcal out there. Our team has selected over 120 kinds of mezcal, and our tasting experiences are meant to be fun and educational.

Join us for a unique dining experience inside our beautiful hacienda, as well as on our street patio. Our menu features an amazing selection of tacos, appetizers, entrees, salads, and desserts, alongside mezcal pairings, delicious cocktails, and weekly specials. We source ingredients as locally as possible, and Chef Adrian Villarreal's passion for native plants shows in the seasonal touches on every plate.
